Good mid-and-up for XR400 play bike.

I added this slip-on to my ported XR400 (which also has an HRC Hop-up kit installed) mostly to drop some weight off the back of the bike. I expected a couple additional ponies from the Pro Circuit pipe, and was really happy with the mid and up rev. If you are an experienced rider, and appreciate how good the XR400 is in the woods and deserts, then this pipe is a good addition. If you can't tell if your jetting is off with your butt, then spend the money on your girlfriend. If you are trying to turn your XR into a modern motocross bike, you'll need a lot more than a pipe.

The manufacturing is excellent, which Pro Circuit has consistently done for years and years. (I bought my first pipe from them back in 1983, and probably bought more than 10 since then). It bolted right up and fit the stock header with precision.
